There is a local pub in Slingsby (about a 5 min walk from the park) called the Grapes Inn. Well worth a visit, the food and drink is excellent! And again you are made to feel very welcome.

The Grapes is the village pub with hand pulled fantastic Cask Marque beers, Black Sheep and Copper Dragon 'Golden Pippin'. Another friendly place worth a stroll to.

Nice food at the nearby Grapes pub and we were made to feel very welcome.

It's about a 5 minute walk - if that, to the local pub, the grapes which is nice and v family friendly

We ate at the local pub one night, the meals are very good and the beer is great.
